About the Foundation

Preserving Heritage, Engaging Communities, Building the Future

The TLG Foundation is a private, non-profit organization established in Portugal in 2023, dedicated to preserving cultural heritage, promoting social inclusion, advancing education, supporting the arts, and fostering sustainable community development across Portugal and the Portuguese-speaking world.

We believe that heritage is more than a legacy of the past—it is a powerful tool for shaping a more inclusive and prosperous future. Through innovative projects, strategic partnerships, and community-driven initiatives, we work to create meaningful opportunities, strengthen social bonds, and ensure that culture, education, and innovation remain accessible to all.

Our mission is realized through four key areas of focus: Cultural Heritage, Digital Inclusion, Culture and Arts, and Education and Leadership. From restoring historic landmarks and supporting artistic creation to empowering migrant communities through digital tools and preparing future leaders through education, our initiatives are designed to generate lasting and measurable impact.

At the heart of the Foundation is a dedicated team of professionals, advisors, and community leaders who share a common commitment to public benefit and sustainable development. The Foundation is led by an experienced Executive Board and Board of Directors, supported by a multidisciplinary consulting team and key directors specializing in business development, finance, technical operations, and legal affairs.
Together, they provide strategic guidance, strong governance, and the expertise necessary to deliver impactful programs and foster meaningful partnerships.

Working alongside municipalities, universities, cultural institutions, NGOs, companies, and foundations, the TLG Foundation continues to build bridges between heritage and innovation, preserving what matters while creating opportunities for generations to come.

Together, we are building a more inclusive, culturally vibrant, and sustainable future for Portugal and the Portuguese-speaking world.
